Chris Zajko

Is a self-taught artist and musician based in Calgary, Alberta, whose artistry is intimately affected by his childhood in Warsaw. Zajko's artworks bear influence from cubism and new objectivity but with a contemporary twist that exposes modernism's underbelly. His unique visual vernacular has come to feature prominently in Calgary's underground scene, perforce his cult-classic music group Melted Mirror. An artists-artists, Zajko's works can be found in notable collections or through his gallery Huffman-Nyikes.
